« on: March 11, 2017, 06:05:04 pm »
Can I use a mini fuse 15 amp between the pump and the battery or only a standard fuse?
Thanks

If its a 15 amp fuse then its rated at 15amp no matter what the physical dimensions are.

click on the link  Did you mean: Fuse (automotive)?

My fuse holder takes a regular fuse. I have a few spare fuses in the tool cupboard. The type of fuse you need would depend on the fuse holder.

thanks Spruce, yes made a mistake to buy a mini fuse holder but wasn't sure if it was ok to use.

As long as its the right rated fuse then you will be fine.

The controller fuse Varistream use is a 10amp. I'm sure that the spring controllers use a 7.5amp but I haven't checked.

I don't recall us ever blowing a fuse at all tbh.
