low pressure
« on: November 21, 2016, 04:16:58 pm »
Just changed all the filters and resin on my 300 gpd r.o.
Booster pump usually pushes it up to 80 but now only around 60.
Any ideas why?
Thanks.

Maybe the old prefilters were a little clogged which restricted the flow through them.

If you have only changed the prefilters then this difference can only be down to the them. If you have just done it, replace the new with the old and see if it goes back to the original pressure. Then replace the carbon and sediment filters separately and note the results.

If you had a 1 micron carbon block and now have a 5 micron, this could also indicate the reason for the pressure drop.

Thanks Spruce.
Old filters have gone now!
Maybe air in the system? Seem to get problems at every filter change.
Cant remember what I did last time. Getting so old!
