Apparently the lines that caused the trouble ran:

"The blushing bride she looks divine,
The bridegroom he is doing fine,
I'd rather have his job than mine,
When I'm cleaning windows."

made a visit to your link, a lot of talk about george formby, and a lot of it guess work, even the talk about wc, saying were not allowed to clean windows off ladders anymore, we have to use a big pole with a sponge on the end  and it did make me laugh.

Did you also know

The petronas towers in malaysia
 have 32,000 windows. Totally there are 77,00 square meters. And they have to be cleaned!
From the top some "gondola's" are going down to clean the windows. From these gondola's the window cleaners are doing their job.
All together those two towers have 11 gondola's.
Every day the windows cleaners are doing eight floors.
It takes five months to clean the entire building, so it's done twice a year.
