What do u mean by a basic water fed system??
Depending on your system/brush you use;

Sometimes just good old water with some squirty (washup liquid) and a brush does a good job on its own. Ive done that for years.
Alternatively can squirt ciff on your brush after water the conny roof and scrub with that. Or use ubik2000 sprayed onto wet roof, leave for a couple of mins to break down the algae etc then scrub. Either way, plenty of rinsing.

get yourself a 2.5 ltr Hoselock sprayer or 5 ltr of any cheapo make buy some virosol, trf pre wet with water and then spray on the chemical  ( as long as its not self cleaning glass ) then scrub with a low/no flow for a few seconds then use normal flow scrub and rinse the green will melt away very quickly

if you have a backpack then make a 1 in 3 concentrated mix wash and scrub over then using pure rince off

Easiest way I've found after using all sorts of chems and methods is to use a benz blackwash softwash mix, let dwell for a short time, rinse off. Then trad or wfp glass afterwards. Benz explains it's safe to use on plastics and glass and shows how quick and effortless this method is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqvABSlIBv4
