Just got all my round WFP done at last and started second time on some.
Last week did a new one in the middle of the round...very dirty.
Gave them a good blast and scrub and rinse then moved on to next.
2 or 3 houses later went to have a look at them, lots of spots and streaks, it was a sunny day as well so they stood out like a silver dollar on a black man's arris.
So I re did the house again and voila....have found you have to be thorough and slow first time with WFP on new and previously trad windows.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Go back to the worst one (if you can without looking silly) put your pump on FULL give the window 10 seconds possibly 15 at the most...do not rinse.

Throw your kit in the nearest skip - everyone knows it's a crap way of cleaning windows get a proper job that gives more satisfaction. That's what I wish I had done.

I know you are new to wfp and want to work on your technique but would it not be easier and quicker just trad bungalows instead?

Seriously it  took me about 3 months to get the hang of wfp work as it's not as easy as just waving a stick and splash water about that's for sure. Just keep at it and will eventually all fall into place.

Unfortunately he's right.
Fortunately window cleaning customers don't tend to be that fussy.
Unfortunately that's no help to any OCD types who need perfection or close to it for job satisfaction.
Fortunately there's  an alternative.
Unfortunately it risks life and limb.

Back to the old trad vs wfp argument are wee now.

Im off in a mo to wfp some bungalows and maybe a few 2 storey houses to boot if I can be arsed.
If they has any issues they can always call me within 24 hours and I will pop back to sort it out. However none of my customers have yet done so and all say what a wonderful job I do. Go figure ...

Mind it does help if they are elderly, have poor eyesight and nets on the windows. Just kidding  ;D ;D

Do you honestly think your going to get a call back over a few spots and runs, its a bit like the crappy restaurant waiter asking
was everything alright, 99% will say they enjoyed the meal and walk out vowing never to return.
Like I pointed out most customers don't pay much if any attention to their windows being cleaned unless they are really bad
and even then some wont notice.
The wfp pitfalls annoy the users more than the customers unless your wise or stupid enough not to know or care.

You do bit so easily SeanK  ;D
The point I’m making is that wfp works just as well if not better than trad in the right hands. Also opens up a whole new revenue stream than trad only cleaners.

To be a proper window cleaner you should be able to use all methods with acceptable results and choose the one most suited to the job in hand.

Practice makes perfect as the say...well sort of, near enough. Job done  ;D
