I would canvass canvass canvass and then treat myself to a couple of pints each evening - best way to spend it IMO.

To be honest £500 is nothing for decent advertising, seriously - canvass.

If starting out I would use it to get my details put onto the van, for me this was the only money spent on advertising that
I don't regret, unless your looking to build an empire window cleaning becomes self sustaining once your round gets to a
certain size helped by highly visible contact details.

 I would put the £500 towards having a good website built,  Nathanael Jones did mine three years ago,  i tried local radio
 advertising for three weeks, i didn't get one call, i tried local different city paper advertising for months here and there,
 with a very low return,  I absolutely  swear by the website, i get all my work from it plus referrals from current customers,
 its the best investment for my business i ever made.

Try everything, as much as you can get for £500 . I get a very low return from website but it helps look more professional, added to the uniform, leaflets and the majority of work I get from the local business magazine

I would dump using wix as a website builder and hosting for a start if it was me.

While I'd never disagree with comments about the value of a website (I am slightly biased though!) - - My personal best ever investment in marketing was vehicle signage,.. if you haven't got it already, I'd put that top of your list.

Facebook business page boosting using power editor.
Get a well written  ad promoting what you do..detail exactly what they will get for the money and bang some quality pictures up and bang your away.

Not enough obviously as per your first comment about your website.

WIx is not that google seo friendly nor from a quick root around you don't seem to have specific landing pages for the areas including services you offer in those areas.

Seriously, if I were in your position, I would go on a good marketing course (probably £2,000- £5,000) and then you could work it out for yourself, plus you'd get loads of other ideas and benefits for your business. Unfortunately you don't really get advertising courses (advertising is just a part of marketing) but get a good marketing course and you'll be seriously cooking!

You could employ a lad to canvass.
You could employ a lad to leaflet
You could spend it on seo/adwords
You could spend it on local mags

I would get a nice website and do all the above.

Ah, you didn't state it was a monthly budget in your original post - it sounded like you just had £500.
