Jet washing is risky you just blast the grit and grime around to other places and generally just make a mess of your own making and if it surrounds a pool then its a big no no.
We used to roto it with a stiff brush and vacuum with a wet and dry simple as that, came up a treat but most of what we did was around swimming pools.

I cleaned a large area of this at the local bowling club over 10 years ago. I used microsplitter and some gentle agitation before HWE. It came up very well. They've since changed to some other type of surface (not sure what) and have to have a "specialist" company that travel a long way to do it. I suspect that they do much the same as I did.
