Why not just save a bit more and buy a decent set up.

Bottom of the page - modular

This is the vacuum I have. The bloke who sells ( two first names ) them ain't too bad and you can get a 50mm inlet - more than powerful enough.

Buy nice or buy twice. I have a set of carbon fishing tubes and they are a pleasure compared to the alloy ones but I will replace them with the ones above  before winter this year. Just add 10m of hose !

BDCS, I have those pole sections you posted and min order is 5 so I bought 6 as wanted one as a spare anyway which cost including vat and shipping approx £600. That's just the sections on their own which are hybrid 60/40 carbon not full carbon much to my disappointment.

Here is the link if anyone is interested http://www.carbonfibretubes.co.uk/standard-tubes/#Modular CFTMOD50. Then I had to buy silicone bends etc and diy nozzle tools to fit the top section as carbonfibretubes.co.uk just sell tubes and nothing else.

Mind you the single job I got them for covered the cost so you could say soon paid for themselves very quickly. I had no choice really as would have not been able to do that job with ali poles. I already had omni guttervac bits so just needed to change to using carbon sections like smudger did.

To be honest if a  newbie that does not have any bits already by the time they have forked out for all the separates to make a working guttervac they might as well just buy a kit as in my previous post http://www.guttercleaningsystems.co.uk/3000carbonfibrekits.html as a 40' full carbon kit comes out at 795 inc vat which seems very good value to me.
