Xtreme pole with Ex-ceed set-up?
« on: May 08, 2016, 08:28:26 pm »
Anybody use this system with their Xtreme?
Was thinking of buying the kit to keep my van tidy. But seem to remember that there was some problems with putting it onto an Xtreme pole? Maybe I got it wrong  ???

The tubeless conversion should be ok and also the univalve, but I would email Alex just to be sure
I think it was the Aqua dapter that he said not to fit as it put too much strain on the pole. But again, I would check with him

i was told the tubeless set up works fine with the extreme without cutting any sections , dont know if thats still true of the mk3 though .

If you look into the bottom of an extreme the top section ends a few inches up inside the pole , which is enough for the connecter to stay inside pole , if you compare to slx the sections all meet up bar a few mm at the bottom of the pole so you have to cut top section to get connector to stay inside pole.
