I go through a broker Alexander Swan
01793 616773
who specialise in Carpet Cleaning and Window Cleaning insurance. You need the basic insurance and more importantly insurance for items that are being worked on, so if you shrink a carpet then you are covered. I think that you have to complete the questionaaire and show that you have training etc or a level of proficiency so they are not insuring someone with no experience or training.
I have employers liability insurance with them also. Difficult to tell you the price but added on a truckmount for £11000 and it cost £75.00 extra. If you have a truckmount then some use NFU.
As for those that don't insure thats an accident waiting to happen IMO
Starts at the bottom likes it and stays there
