Emerson or webasto
« on: March 03, 2016, 04:10:23 pm »
For those that have used both

How well to you rate them against each other pros and cons

I currently use a webasto 9.8 kW heater for last 7 years but am considering an Emerson heater  into a custom built insulated tank

Comments welcom

Thanks

Are we talking electric immersion heater?

If so what can you incorporate to keep water hot all day, with ref to insulation

If in doubt.....Leave it out !!

O very well done mr b - I'd never heard of an Emerson heater, I thought it was an alternative diesel heater  :-X

Immersion element all the way  8)

I got to have a look at the Webasto version from Ionics today - I think the guy paid around 3.5K then fitted it himself. Makes a hell of a racket when it's running, don't know if they all do it.
