Used the gutter vac for about 4 hours yesterday.
When I came to put it away I could not separate the top 2  carbon fibre poles, the rest came apart ok.
Had to strap them to the ladder to get them in van...any quick fixes for parting these.
The woman of the house was not strong enough to help and there was no one about.
Also the tool pipe at the end of the top pole is jammed in semi permanent any quick fixes.

Use a strap. tie one end to the roof rack with the other end looped through it's self. Put the loop over the pole and then wind the pole in the strap - this allows you to pull and turn the poles.

All ways make sure you pole is clean and moist before inserting it..it is useually poo on your pole that makes stick.
Pouring hot water on it and shaking it wiil free your pole from a dirty orfice.

Are we talking about aluminium or carbon type tapered fit poles here?

Carbon......haven't tried to do it yet.

Got it with a strap round railings.

I take it you use the larger tapered end as the top of each sections to slot the next smaller tapered bottom section into?
If you don't and use them the other way round the sections will keep jamming up.

When assembling section together if they are not kept clean it only takes one bit of grit to start to jam them up.

Best way I have found to clean them through when they start getting heavy and packing away is with the poles and head still attached to the guttervac is poor some water into a  bucket and suck it up to clear the sections & hose out. If any sections are stuck together after cleaning them out still then put on a pair of rubber grip glove and using a twisting pulling action will get them apart.

That's right  Smurf tapered end to the bottom so the sh*t flows straight down without gumming up the joint.
Have cleaned them out round the joints  so shouldn't happen again.
Was using 4 sections at one point but had no problem disconnecting the bottom 2, thanks for the info from you and BDCS.
When I wrote the original question it seemed like a stupid one but I just never had a problem before so thought type it and see.

The can get stuck together from time to time for sure but is far better than coming apart and getting one section, head with a camera on it stuck down a downspout 3 storey up. 

Whilst in use I've found best practice is to temp gaffer tap the joints together as well as those poxy silicon bend if used so they don't come apart unexpectedly
