I've been trading for a couple of years now, have built up a nice customer base, a distinctive sign written van, smart coloured uniform.
One of my customers rang me yesterday to tell me that they'd just seen another van, using same name and colours as me.
Should I take it as a compliment or get royally pee'd off? I guess there's nothing I can do about it as I'm sure there are dozens of same named companies trading under window cleaners.

nowt you can do mate.just keep providing a good service.itll keep you on your toes and not let you take customers for granted! ;D

id also change your branding to you OWN name(eg joe bloggs window cleaning)rather than use a name like "squeaky clean window cleaning".other window cleaners are not going to put your name on their vans! :)
price higher/work harder!

I know I do a great Dazmond, just worried that they won't and it tarnishes the name  ;D
