i found the extreme brushes barely scrub the froff off a cappuchino  let alone scrub a window clean

I'm very OCD about my work.

I went back to extreme brushes for about 4 months. At first I loved them, it feels like there is no weight on the end of the pole, and herein lies the problem.  On some of my work I was checking on the 4th month I could see parts of the glass getting a slight hazey look in low winter sun light. The extreme brushes weren't cleaning as thoroughly as say the supreme brush.

Extreme brushes can work well, but in my opinion you have to scrub the glass an extra few times to take all the dirt off, compared to say just one or two passes with a denser packed bristle brush.

To me I'd rather have a bit more weight on the pole, but only have to scrub the glass once or twice to achieve a near perfect clean, than have a very light brush, but have to scrub three or four times.

No matter how good you want extreme brushes to be, they just don't cut it on all glass.

yep i agree jonny.i remember cleaning a customers inside windows after poling the outsides and at the top of the glass there was still a bit of dirt on quite a few windows even though id scrubbed them twice with extreme brushes.

i tend to only use the extremes on work over 30ft these days.

SL standard/supreme brushes from gardiners and the xline evo lites get used for most work.

Same here - loved them for a year or so but never use them now.

My favorite brushes at the mo are the XLine Evo-lite and Gardiner's  Supremes. For me the Evo-lite has the edge on the Supreme. Slightly heavier but more durable.

I know this post isn't about poles but I Currently use an SL-X 18 and 27 and love em.

The X line mono is what I would call a starter brush similar to the Gardiner super lite, they're ok if your short on confidence or
experience but if you really want to speed up while having as easy a working day as possible then you have to get onto the Gardiner Xtreme brushes, just try not to over scrub as there's no need and it will needlessly shorten their lifespan.
Xtreme medium mixed for windows and the stiff for fsg cleans.

And yet I am the guy working away using the lightest brush on the market and your still plodding along with a brick on the
end of your pole, worse still even using it you cant even achieve a decent clean without adding chemicals that others don't seem to need, maybe you should try funny.

The extreme brushes are made for splash and dash weedy little girls with twiglet arms.
Xline mono are proper brushes for men that want to do a proper job.
Go and brush your dolls hair with your extreme little girl, the men are trying to discuss work here

Extreme brushes are naff they fall to bits in a matter of a few weeks...

Had my x line mono for 6 months now and still in brilliant condition
