Removing pole sections.
« on: January 15, 2016, 07:15:00 pm »
Hi, I've acquired an ionics ergo lite and would like to remove a few sections. They seem to have a stop which doesn't allow the sections to be pulled free. Before I saw it off, is there anything I can do to remove bottom three sections?
Thanks.

undo the clamps completely and just pull them out as they are only held by a stop plastic 3/4 ring with a dot that sits in a pre drilled hole at the end. If you force the plastic bit out of the hole it will come apart easily. You can always replace the first four or five clamps with bicycle clamps for seats as they fit just as well and give more prolonged life on knackered poles making them like new again. Donne it myself, bought some old ionic or facelift poles and swapped the clamps over.
