Corrugated asbestos sheets
« on: January 07, 2016, 07:38:00 am »
Hi, This is not really a cleaning question but wonder if anyone has advice on removal of asbestos corrugated sheets from  single garage roof. I know its a specialist job but how much approx would it be to remove 20 6x4 pieces of it?

Denise prices vary dramatically  dependant on access and disposal.  Ring a couple of local specialised companies.  A word of warning only use a registered company, get a proper receipt specifying removal and correct disposal

Best speak to the local council tip as I'm sure most council run tips will take it if it's double bagged.

Down here you have to inform them and make sure they have room in the skip. I does have to be bagged and its best to wear a mask and do it in the rain
