Protector on jute rug, Is it possible?
« on: November 30, 2015, 04:51:05 pm »
Hey guys, as per subject line. Customer has bought a jute rug and asked me if it can be protected. I have never applied protector to rugs / carpets made of plant fibres so am unsure.  Presumably, solvent based protector should be fine. What's your thoughts, please?

Cheers
Emil

Hi Emil you can protect with a Solvent protector, but protector can change the colour (goes darker) so testing is important. Mind you not sure where you could test. Perhaps the back?
