Probably been mentioned before, has anyone tried drilling holes in the front of a wand Glide to improve airflow ?

Yes, waste of time, especially with a portable due to their very limited airflow to begin with.

You need airflow 'through' the carpet pile or upholstery fabric, not above it. That's just a waste of section.
