Virtual Landline
«
on:

Does anyone use a virtual landline direct to their mobile?
There are companies on the internet that do this but want to know if you have any recommendations. Not looking for the cheapest but the easiest to set up/use/maintain.
Any advice on who to use appreciated.
Tony

Tony
im with talktalk and pay for a mobile boost that gives me unlimited or thousands of mins for free £5 a month so I get all my call straight to land line then redirect my landline to whatever no I want my tamar bill has never been more than £5 .
Local No works they are worth every penny 0800 lag behind due to a lot of mobile companies charging

Same as Neil, I use Tamar and have an 0800 number as well as a local number. I have them pointing at my landline which then diverts to my mobile, this is cheaper than having them go straight to my mobile. My bill is always below £10 a month.

I wouldn't mind an 0800 number doe's the number ring straight to my landline. Also Neil 0800 will be free from mobiles from 1st July due to new laws.

Would any of you please advise on how to set up professional voice mail? Such as @Hi, you have reached 'company name' and so on
Even thought about the one which directs customer via choosing certain keypad numbers.
Many thanks
Simon

I use voiphone and it diverts to my phone with an email. I suppose I could divert it direct but I'm a bit old fashioned I don't answer my phone when I'm working. I feel that if a customer has booked me for a job they should get my undivided attention and not look at me on the phone taking a quote etc and then thinking "has he missed a bit?"
I am never more than a couple of hours away from returning the call and yes I have missed a few people who have waited 10 years to soil their carpets then cannot wait 2 hours for a call back!
