Hi JD, For a 4040 ro you would need one of theses http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/water-purification/spares-fittings/auto-shut-off-kit.html.I also had a look about for something simular to this but is not suitable for a 4040 ro as would need 1/2 inch connectors not 1/4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECO-idOPiZw unless someone knows where you can get them from.

What if you have a pump attached to up the water pressure, what turns this on?steve
