How to you rate the direct drive evo pumps mate? I'm looking at getting the 17lpm 250bar pump on a gx390.

What do you sell the pumps for?

Morning all,

In my opinion there is no issue using direct drive pumps providing that normal maintenance is carried out efficiently and sensibly.
Obviously the one critical bit that very few do is undoing the 4 pump / gearbox bolts once a year and replacing and greasing the key steel. A £4 job anyone can do with either a 13mm or 15mm spanner.

The only other thing which is important with direct drive is the easy prime valve to help the pump bleed, obviously the pistons are running more quickly so create less of a vacuum. This is NOT an issue unless you leave the pump for minutes without water - leaving a gearbox pump without water will also have the same effect just not QUITE as quickly. :)

Spec on the Interpump E3E2517C is very good and we have fitted a fair few. You should get the flow and pressure no problem.
