Why not get somebody in to do your painting/decorating Daz? It's a false economy having to take time off work to do it yourself when you can pay a professional to do it for about 30-40% of your own daily takings.

I know plenty of local decorators that are more than happy with £120/day.

I reckon 2 hrs to do a good job first clean and 90 min on regular cleans.its a massive house.im not happy getting £40 for 90 min time on a large house like this.he 's not replied anyway.

Yes I messed up!but guess what?I got a call from a guy from next door to this guy today to clean inside and out! (New church minsters house).I'm gonna go and price it up tomorrow. (£120 methinks)an hour outside and 2 hrs inside.one off.

If you don't really want the job then just text to confirm the price quoted was 400  (not 40 ) for a first exterior window clean.
That should do the trick methinks.

ive only ever broke a 200 year old paper thin window on an old cottage years ago when trad.the custy said "its about time that window was replaced!"and insisted he paid me and he fixed it himself at no charge to myself.i cut my hand and nearly severed an artery in my wrist!

im a lucky guy.

just goes to show even when we ve been in this game for years we still make the odd mistake.oh well onward and upward.

Just caught the glass wrong with the stock of the brush.
Cleaning the channel for the sliding sash.
It was 2mm 100year old+
My fault. Just not paying enough attention.

its for the new church minister who ll be moving in it in a couple of weeks.i already clean the church next door(which i clean every 6 months at a good price).ill schedule it in for sat this week methinks as im very busy at the moment mon-fri.

i fancied a change from window cleaning danny.i dont mind a bit of painting plus i wanted to clear a few things out of my flat and have a general tidy up.its great having an interior designer as a girlfriend though!shes done ALL the wallpapering and fitted new blinds while i was out working today!

i dont want anymore work at all dave really!

my mistake was i should of quoted double price for first clean and told him from the off as i reckon 2 hours to get them up to scratch.

why is it we get enquiries for new jobs when we re already crammed full with overdue jobs?very rarely get even one new  enquiry when im having a slack week!
