Airflex Storm re visited
« on: July 18, 2015, 08:21:05 am »
Well I've had my storm for about a month now, and I must say it's a crackin bit of kit, the power is emense and it looks so professional,  I would confidently buy another one tomorow, I dont think there is another porty out there to touch it !
My Scorpions served me very well for nearly eight years but dont compare , (sorry Ed)  I've had good back up with John Kelly  and he is only half an hour away from me, so if I need anything I always know John and Lynn are nearby ! You can tell this machine has been designed by another carpet cleaner as it ticks all the boxes, ok it dosent have a heater and for that reason I purchased a mytee
Hot Turbo heat exchanger which is exellent when you need scalding hot water, in most cases hot water from the customers tap is more than adequate, I was pleasantly surprised it didn't weigh as much as people said, in fact I think it weighs about 1kg more than a jag but with a host of benefits, trying changing a vac or a pump on another machine in a few minute's I think you will find it very unlikely,  I've been carpet cleaning twenty years now and have to admit its the best portable I've ever used

How do you think it would compare with the airflex turbo?

I know of two guys that own both and they say they favour the Storm hands down, plus its lighter with having two motors

Its the best machine I have ever owned or used.

Cant believe people even compared the Jag or Scorpion to the Storm a couple of years back. Its in another league.

think im about 6 months in with my storm, i seriously rate it, very very powerfull,  ive done some cracking jobs with it and it has yet to miss a beat........ very much worth looking into as a damn good upgrade or a new starters machine if you have a few bob to spend. Ive yet to try a jag, i would very much like to, esp the new 8.4 which i almost went for instead of the storm, ditto the enforcer, and also the alltec equivalent,  but for now the storm is making me happy every day of the week............. well done cleansmart........
trying to think of any negatives with my storm, im struggling, i know i had an issue with the waste tank cover  on my airflex pro, but that was after about a year and a half,  £90 to replace, not the end of the world, apart from that, erm, leave it with me, ill come up with some bad points eventually, maybe..... love it to bits!!!

Tim
I have a bad point with storm.

It's the wrong shade of blue and clashes with my logo!!!!
Well it's the best I can do.
