CC'ers in or around Ipswich, Mentor wanted
« on: July 08, 2015, 10:10:43 pm »
Hi all long time forum lurker here.

I'm looking to go self employed as a carpet cleaner after years of being a labourer/maintenance worker for a couple of companies. All the usual stuff has pushed me towards it like being sick to death of having a boss, dont like working with or for idiots unless they pay me well of course etc.

I was just wondering if anyone local to me would be willing for me to shadow and help them out for awhile? I've not received any training yet so would be a little while before i can unless willing to educate a complete newbie.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stefan

Best thing you can do is book a training course mate in my opinion........
i tried getting somebody to take me out for a bit of experience b ut it didnt
happen, and it wont unles you are happy to go out with somebody a long long way from your manor!
who wants to train up a competitor?????  Book on to a course and get yourself sorted, the courses ar great
AND while you are there you get to talk to other mor experienced operators who will answer questions
and help you out with stuff.......  also you need to spend hours and hours rading on the forums, you can pick up
a lot of good knowledge from some top operators....  but  that wont replace the training courses you will need
to go on................im three
years in, and still very much a beginner!!!!!! ive done five courses and aim to do many
many more..........

Training is my top priority but who knows someone close to retiring or something may be willing to get some free labour.
