Gap in the CRB market
«

I have just read another thread about rotaries which digresseed into the merits of the Sebo Duo. Every time this pops up the same thought occurs to me - why has no one brought out a CRB machine at the mid price point? I mean around £700 I'm sure it would sell loads of units.
The Sebo is too light and the TM4 and similar are expensive. What would be good is a heavy weight Duo sized machine.

Tm3 looks like the answer I think I might get one when my "Toy" breaks.

youd think sebo would realise the limitations of the sebo duo and come up with an upgrade, a sebo duo turbo........
heavier, more powerfull, £400/£500 mark............... sell like hot cakes...........

The sebo duo wasn't designed for scrubbing pre spray. It's meant for mrs blogs dry cleaning her own carpets with duo p that's why their not really up to the job

Don, That,s not really an answer is it. Its like saying its no good "because".
Why in your experience is a TM4 better than a sebo duo on domestic carpets?

Don or Dan
Sorry wrong choice of words maybe. It was really in answer to Tim's suggestion about sebo coming up with an upgrade. It's a machine that was designed for the domestic dry cleaning market not professional use.
I cant answer your question directly Robin as I don't own a TM4. However I do own a flexi 5 and the difference between that and the duo are night and day. All the same reasons that where mentioned in the previous thread. Lifting hair and general crud from the carpet.
I had the duo then bought a floormac and imported some green brushes a few years ago and the duo got retired as the floormac and a green brush wiped the floor with it so to speak. Then when I got a flexi 5 that took things to another level again. They all have their place though. Quite often if a carpet doesn't need that much agitation then I'll use a floormac . IMO the duo is good for making sure the prespray has reached every fibre but not that good at actually scrubbing.

What colour brushes would be the popular choice for the tm3?
