I expect you downloaded something and at the same time pulled down some adware freebies which pop up and change your search results in Google. There are ways of fixing this (eg: by resetting your browser to defaults). Which browser are you using?

I usually follow these instructions when my PC gets infected with adware:

I expect there is something similar for Internet Explorer (which I tend not to use).

You know those James Bond films where the evil media baron wants to run the world!
That'll be Google in a few years. Especially if they team up with Facebook to be called 'GoogleBook'!
Personally I prefer Miss Funny Fanny  ;D

SEO is only part of the game. Did you know that your search results will be different to mine?

Google's aim is to arrange the internet so it's useful. If you normally search for a specific type of website (say you read forums a lot) then Google will tend to put these near the top for you.

SEO is certainly not damaging the internet.
