Good van for two adults and a child?
« on: June 28, 2015, 07:47:36 pm »
Want to get a van at some point.  Although girlfriend has car and will mostly use that would be good to have possibility of taking her and baby in van.  What is good van for two adults and a baby?    Also as I do some gardening is it possible to get a mower and hedgecutter etc in same van with tank?

Citroen Dispatch/Peugeot Expert/Fiat Scudo- all same vans & most have Three seats in the front with plenty of space in the back. In fact, Toyota have now also jumped on the band wagon with the same van! So that's Four manufacturers selling the same van.

Bit tight for space, although it can be done, better comfort for 3 up front would be Toyota hi ace, transit or master for the latter go for a high top, nothing worse than putting equipment in/out and banging your head

Vivario/traffic/primastar great to drive, don't rust, but build quality is poor....

I've always favoured the IsoFix system for securing child seats.
Not sure if any vans incorporate this, maybe crew vans with rear seats but not sure?
