I have got a mwb semi hi top transit which is brilliant for payload and space
Also got a transporter with a smaller tank , Its a bit cramped in the back but good on juice compared with the tranny, i dont know if thats down to the weight of the tank ?
Both have been very reliable.

Renault Kangoo 1.9 Diesel.
815kg payload i think it is & have a 250l tank fitted.
Looking at putting a 400l soon.
Very reliable & good on fuel.
Have no complaints about it.

The Kangoo also comes with a rather gay jellyfish on the side , if you like that sort of thing ! {hi craig }
I have a transporter , swb 1200 payload 2.5 TDI , as Dave says , good on fuel .

Toyota Hilux, crew cab pick up.
1200kg payload, room for 5 adults and stacks of room in the back and an excellent family vehicle, 2nd pick up ive had and used on this kind of work and its the best motor ive ever had.
