Do any suppliers sell used scrubbers
« on: June 19, 2015, 08:40:58 pm »
Im just after something low cost for agitation on black top on pub/restaurant carpets. I dont come across this often so I'm not looking to invest hundreds at the moment where my carpet brush usually does the job.

A rotary is your best investment here. Should pick up a used one for under 250 make sure it has a drive board as these can be around 100 alone. You can then use various pads or bonnets for agitation or bonnetting and encap in the future. A brush would be handy if included

Try A3 machines, look under floor polishers. I'd prefer a slow speed around 150 - 175 rpm. Ours is a 17" Victor which i've found to be bullet proof and is now into dog years old but still keeps going.  The CRB has all but replaced the rotary in most circumstances for us but for black top the rotary always comes out for a good scrub and you can post bonnet to speed drying.

Why get something you may not use again? Get a victor 13 inch with shampoo brush and drive board, you'll be able to use this on domestics as well.
