Anti fungicide on plastic?
« on: June 09, 2015, 05:28:31 pm »
I have some gutters that are always very difficult to clean with wfp. G101, virosol etc have little effect and I normally have to resort to scrubbing the dirt off by hand with a cream cleaner. I wondered if something specifically for killing mould/mildew might work?

Are you sure it's mould/mildew Dave and not deposits from the flue of a log burner from a nearby property?
I've used a spray mould/mildew remover on upvc on inside conservatory roof cleans but it's main ingredient is bleach.

I had a similar problem today.  Black mold on frames that haven't been cleaned in a while.  I couldn't get it all off even with patient scrubbing and neat viro-sol on brush.  Any tips on what to use to remove mold stains using WFP would be great.

Would an Anti Fungicide  be something that encourages the growth of Mould & Algae ?
