« on: May 12, 2015, 08:23:04 pm »
Went to a job on Friday and in the hall they had put some spray down under a long rug to stop the rug moving, this has left the carpet extremely sticky, am going back Thursday to have another go at it, any ideas on best thing to use? I've never come accros this stuff before, HELP

It will probably be unibond anti slip for rugs ! A slim red and white earosol with a roller aplicater at the top, you can buy a thinners product to remove the sticky residue but p o g from chemspec would normally remove it

Thanks Tim, in all my years of carpet cleaning I've never seen anything like the mess made by this stuff, she did say she'd never use it again.

Some of them are meant to be sprayed onto the rug rather than the carpet. They are usually latex.
