I dont understand why you spend so much time on here H-MAN posting various videos of traditional window cleaning concepts which all seem to come with varying problems of one sort or another.  Havent you heard of WFP? When I used to work traditionally I never bothered with all this dog-earred malarky, whatever it all is (If I had to screw about with trad equipment the way you seem to I wouldnt have had two minutes left in the day to scratch I disagree) Okay i know what it is, but you dont need to dog-ear your channel to have it work well and effectively.

You post a video about some sort of traditional window cleaning concept then a few days later post another video of the 'fix' or a 'patch' or an update for whatever the first video was about. Reminds me of Microsoft.

Hmmm, I can see where it's becoming confusing on that first picture. It's not a dog ear but a pigs ear!

Different Pigs ear ???
Just saying it is not necessary to bend the end of the channel in.
Lifting channel about 3mm up at the ends gives you enough to be able to  squeegee into the corners/edges.
easier to use also.
