Keep it simple. Include your address on the flyer and a local telephone number, not just phone Dave on 07xxxxxxx I'd chuck that in the bin.

Mike Halliday is your man.
Target the same area repeatedly, include and offer with an end date

We have always found the local church magazine very fruitfull for the villages.
Just pay a visit to a church in the benifice they sometimes have some in the porch.
Adverts in the the church magazine are cheap as chips for a years advert and once you are in with one customer that has had a good job then word spreads and your in for life!!
Word of mouth is always the best.
Hope that helps.

You can increase your response rate dramatically if you speak to the person you are handing the flyer to, by saying something as simple as " would you like to take some details of our expert cleaning service" if they are interested they will ask questions if not you can save on flyers going to people who wont take the services.
