No, No, No...... you don't use the wagtail pads, you make your own from Aldi floor mop pads. Much better than the wagtail ones. You then cut them in a specific way/shape so that the soap just misses the edges, cut the rubbers at a very slight angle & hay ho- no detailing required.  The flippers are amazing but you do have to use a bit of brainpower to get the best from them. ;)

If the inside is polycarbonate and opaque then I normally use a floor mop - the ones with the big flat microfibre pad.
