i;ve just taken the plunge and spent £409 on a manual hannah hose cart from Gardiners...

it's one about because at current rate my guys destroy a hose cart every 6 months or so... and before it's destroyed it'll be rattling about and causing them problems.  hopefully with the Hannay we can get at least 5 years out of it in good working order. Alex estimated we should get around 15 years (though not guaranteed of course).

if it works well for 6 years we will have saved a little money, and a lot of hassle...

Maybe a word with "your guys" would have been cheaper.

We have been using same hose reels for the past 7 years.

might have been cheaper, but wouldn't have been more effective. the hose cats are bolted in the back of the van so there's not a lot they can do. its just wear and tear. they work hard and fast
