Gardiner supreme brushes confusion !!!!!
« on: April 15, 2015, 06:05:32 pm »
I am quite thick,  and I start to get anxious when give too many options when buying sommat, so could someone please explain like I was a seven year old the differences in the brushes please ?

I use a medium trim extreme for normal cleaning, and flocked for cleaning upvc at the minute.

Thank you for your patience  ;D

Here is a link to our new Brush Guide - http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/brushes/brush-suitability-guide/brush-guide.html - Whether it will help or not is another matter  :)

If you are happy with your current choices then there is no need to change. However looking at what you currently use I think that if you did want to try a new Supreme brush out, this one may fit your brush taste - http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/brushes/supreme-brushes-arriving-soon/the-supreme-soft-hybrid-brush.html

I would go for a Supreme Medium  Hybrid its a good all round brush and blows the Xtremes out of the water .

Just buy a brush with minimal splay preferably bristles all one length in mono filament form,it's getting to be a mine field for the WFPoler with little experience. You need 3 brushes in your arsenal1 for first cleans so softer brush,2 a very light mono brush, and a brush that glides over lead like it's not even there that's also very light. Let me know when you find the last one lol

I've got one! The flocked soft Extreme dual trim hybrid with the tips cut back a cm  ;)

It then becomes a mono brush  I suppose.

supreme soft hybrid and flocked brushes  -maintenance cleans(including leaded/georgian/sash etc)

radius sill brushes-add ons(polycarbon conservatory roofs/f/s/g etc)

SL flocked-solar panel cleaning/clear glass conservatory roofs

SL medium mixed-VERY dirty first cleans

extremes-high level windows/velux  over 30 ft using  extreme 47 and some awkward angle windows or if i have a shoulder/elbow injury

this is what i use mate.the supremes have now become my most used brushes.love em!

Don't worry too much - you could in fact do everything with one brush if you wanted to.
