Hi sorry for the long subject title  ;D

just won a domestic contract thats 3 days per week and 3 hours per visit.
The house is very large, with the living room alone looking like a giant stately home.

It's not going to be very productive doing all the tasks required each day, as we wouldn't have the time.
so how would you split the days/tasks up?

Obviously toilets and kitchens need doing each time, but ......(lisa's head beings to spin)
Please help!

Hi Lisa!

I have just secured a similar domestic contract equating to 18 hours per week. I have had a long discussion with the Client and basically asked how she would prefer to split the days, and the end result is 3 hour clean x 2 people on Mon, Weds, Fri......prpas you could apply the same but with either 1 person for the 3 hours each visit or 2 people for 1 1/2 hours per visit :)
anyone with facebook can add me at this link ...  jan 'minkeedj' kindon  .... if you can be bothered lol

Hi Jan
Hows it going?

We did the first clean today at this property, nothing like being watched by huge dog ornaments or pets or members of the family wandering around, i'm sure i saw some eyes move on a painting  ;D

I wasn't too bad, we have decided for now to do 6 hours per week (2 of us doing 3 hrs per week each) I cleaner could probably do it in the 2 visits but at the moment with 2 of us we can do more tasks and really get on top of the cleaning, and if one of us is ill or whatever then the other is ok ot just carry on as we will have established a routine.

Just have the hoovering upstairs (bedrooms, landings and 3 flights stairs, and mopping in bathroom. Kitchen to clean, toilets/bathroom and general dusting to do in the 3hrs tomorrow. plus anything else we can think to do.

We done everything else today, skirtings, high level dusting, general dusting and polishing and buffing granite surfaces/fireplace, downstairs hoovering and mopping, kitchen and toilet/bathrooms etc.

I think it was just a case of getting there and just getting on with it, we soon find that we are adopting a routine after a little while anyway.

Hey Lisa!

Not going too bad cheers hun! Things are looking good for you too by the looks of it, well done m8 :)

My 18 hour job hasn't happened yet as that evening the lady's hubbie had a heart attack and cleaning ain't exactly top of her prioritiesat the mo :(

Got a hotel cleaning contract starting on 8th May, should be interesting.....only thing I have to do is supply the cleaners the rest is left to the Client....hmmmm I like those jobs lol :)

Trying to get a look in on the pc is near enough impossible with 4 of us fighting over 2 pc's but can't let myself get behind with the posts like I have lol :)

Take care and don't work too hard  ;)
