Mytee leaking pump
« on: March 22, 2015, 11:24:49 am »
The recent leak my Speedster has sprung appears to be coming from the pump. If I spray out 5 litres from the wand at 400 psi then about 500ml leaks out and finds its way to ground by coming out the sides of the vac exhaust holes underneath.

General question - if it is the pump are they generally fixable at all or is it just time to replace? Is it worth sending it to someone for investigation or not?

Just what you need really isn't it  :-X :-X >:( >:(

cant you run the pump with opened machine to see if its from some connectors or from the pomp?
you can buy all the parts sets for the pump to replace,
do i good remember that you had airflex storm?

It's a Mytee 1003 DX Speedster. We have run the pump with the machine open and it is definately the pump, not any other hoses/filters.

so, you need to strip the pump, replace all the seals, plunger, bearing etc
you will get all the parts from any machine suplier, alltec, cleansmart, mytee etc

you have a leak probably where the bearing moves the plunger.
