I got a call from a local curry house asking for a price, but could only be done when shop was open due to shutters. Its not too far away but still an evening clean. So I added a fiver on as he wanted it doing every week. He said it was too much. I explained it wasn't in my passing etc. He said ok ill see what you clean like. He then says insides also 
I then thought, well I go to the Chinese takeaway all the time a few yards away. I could order Chinese and clean curry house before I collect Chinese. I also do the Chinese but do that while I wait. So I go to curry hole. Windows were full of neon lights. Openers jammed etc. I do outside with WFP. I then start inside. It was just fat. My bubbles soon vanished. I struggled getting into corners with all the lights. Did it and the lower windows was ace, but the upper windows looked poope. I wiped...no. Tried outside ...no. I don't know if it was in the cavity or not. Not too fused if I get it or not. My hands were sticky after

Mad. I could be wrong, but if anyone initially baulks at the price, then says I'll see what your cleaning's like before deciding, I reckon it's a one off job. I'd have said no.

I don't think it is. they were cleaning windows before. I think they struggle to get anyone to do them due to time of night. Most windys are in pub by 2pm round here. I wouldn't go near it if it wasn't on my passing

For really greasy windows, a line of Fairy applied directly to your applicator works a treat.

have a few takeaways and always late in day to clean. jus tkeep on top of it. fairy straight onto applicator and fresh scraper first few times to get it spotless.

got into an argument with an owner once. he was moangin grease marks all over window after a day or so. Yeah pal having a kebab spit next to window will do that.

Not here.
After months (it's a monthly job) of trying, I struck upon the idea of bleach.
A few squirts of flash spray, let it dwell for a moment, then blade it off with a bit of fairy.
Absolutely brilliant.

I'm (this is sad) looking forward to trying Tadgh's degreaser on it. Been using it a couple of weeks and it's great so far!

Hi Darren, if it helps for grease on inside glass i would spray a small amount of the degreaser onto a damp magic eraser pad and use this first to deep clean the glass it will just eat off the greasy residues with ease, finish with trad tools using just water and you will have a perfect result. from my experience i always found using any type of wash up liquid would show up smears on the glass especially at night when the lights are on, or during the day if its sunny.

Honestly mate, it's so close to the hot plate, it's minging. I'd need about 20 magic erasers for just one pane.
The bleach spray works perfectly.

Personally I would find it too restricting to be tied to a certain time of day - unless it was very early morning and first job of the day

So true. I used to do a fish and chip shop years ago. It was a great little number, until the really nice couple who ran it retired and sold up. The new owners turned it into a different type of takeaway. They quibbled over the price, wanted add ons for free, and I also suspected that someone was deliberately covering a window with chipfat to keep me there longer. After a couple of warnings about the chipfat falling on deaf ears I dumped them.

Neither actually, which is why I said it was 'different', so as not to infer any perceived prejudice or racism towards anyone. If I offended you or anyone with my choice of words, I humbly apologize.

FYI, I have some very good friends, who I see at least twice every week, who are from lands including Angola, Croatia, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Nigeria, Poland and Spain.  

Also, I love kebabs and Indian food!
