My Tds is 75

You need two 11Ltr DI vessels, in sequence on the van to pump through & fill tank with tap water. Given your above details, a bag will last you much longer than it is now. My tap tds is 90ppm, I generally use approx 300 to 400 Ltrs a day & a bag of resin lasts me 3 months, sometimes longer. I wouldn't even entertain an RO with your water.

My TDS ranges from 40 to 75ppm and I use an RO but I have room for a static tank at home , I have used double DI method but did not see the point of spending over £320 a year on resin when their was no need when an RO can be bought  for about £180 .

You could buy a static tank an Ro and transfer pump and hose for about £400 and you don't have check ads all the time or mess about changing resin which I found a real pain

Give me all the benefits of a DI-only system for a mere £320 per year anyday!!

If only using 450lts per week would collecting rain water not be an option, I know its the route I
would take if I only needed that amount.

Their is some great benefits of DI only such as no sitting around waiting for static tank to fill from RO after forgetting to turn tap on which is exactly what I am doing now , I need to get some resin for emergencies for my DI's  which are  sat in the garage .
