The email feature on CM only allows you to send very bland black and white text emails with no pictures etc. I know you can CSV the email addresses and paste them into Outlook, but you can't do thousands of emails that way without spending hours sending a few at a time as Outlook won't let you send so many emails in one go

Any of you geniuses worked out a way of getting around this?

Cant you import them into mailchimp?

I use mailchimp for that Simon. Gives you feedback on who opened it, clicked on links etc
