Wonder Wand Filter Wanted
« on: January 24, 2015, 09:27:56 am »
Hello,

This week I was daft enough to get caught out by the frost !

Left my Wonder Wand in the van, the brass filter froze, expanded, and bust !

Been quoted £75 + vat for a new filter & brass housing.

Has anyone got a second hand one or any ideas so my mistake may not be so expensive.

Many thanks

isnt your solution hose long enough to bypass it and the put an inline filter behind where you fitting goes
we had the same problem and did the above

Looks like same has happened to me, left it in van maybe it was thursday night when it was really cold.  I thought the water drains out of the filter housing so not sure exactly how top has been ripped from the thread.  Tried to screw it off but broke the inlet on the side so totally busted.  Only place I can find them is on Amtech for £90 inc Vat, seems expensive indeed. ???

Mine does not seem to be long enough, although I a thinking of a resolution along those lines. Thanks for your help
