K-valves
« on: January 24, 2015, 08:44:53 pm »
One of my friends has gone though 3 K-valves all brand new in three mouths! He only doses it part time!

What is happening he connects up! pulls the trigger then lets go and it and water doesn’t stop!

Any ideas!

Len

Take the  wand to a supplier get them to fit or repair  Some jobs we do right but  depending where you are , as a rule you do got ripped off   I do not have local friends in business but he could come round your house and you take a look   and try Spring Kit see if it is on wrong etc

One of 2 things. Either due to lack of use the O rings have dried out due to detergent left in, very common, usually starts working ok after about 10 minutes but sometimes knackered. This often happens when people only do occasional work or on a spsre wand or handtool.
Or they aren't genuine Kingston valves but Chinese copies which some suppliers, often unwittingly, are selling.
