I had this Cimex along with some other machines i bought from someone giving up.

Its a really great little bit of kit - it has the same 3 contra rotating system as the big Cimex machines but this is just for small areas. Can be used on carpet or hard surfaces.

As i dont use it it needs a good home - it was very well made and expensive when new. The handle comes off so it can be used on stairs etc - the base place has velcro mounts so velcro brushes or normal little scrub pads just press straight on.

I have taken off the bottom plate today to check the belt and it all looks excellent - i have added a picture to show.

The machine has an on/off switch and also a switch to reverse the motor to extend life. When the motor is reversed it sounds noisier in use buts goes quiet when turned upside down - i think something maybe catching the fan which can happen with Cimex's - it runs all ok, may just need some tinkering!!

Not looking for the earth for it but for someone looking for a little scrubber its got to be good alternative to an Oreck, Duo or Floormac and on a par with a CRB for agitation

Had another look at the machine today - its definitely just fan noise when the motor is reversed - if the machine is held upside down the fan moves slightly and the motor goes silent, so the motor is all sound, just probably not had much use and not the fan hasnt worn evenly in both ways
