White areas around a swimming pool carpet

I has any body removed the white residue that builds around swimming pool synthetic type carpets as a result of chlorine.

yep. Think it was chlorine, it was certainly white marks.

I encapped,  please don't ask me which encap , I use numerous and find they all do what they say on the tin, and for the job I am referring to. I don't remember.

I use DFC calcium lime and rust remover as it satisfies their H&S guy and its gel so clings to fibres better. Needs a bit of dwell. We apply by window cleaning applicator then scrub with an Encap pad and rinse with dfc105. We also advise them to fresh water rinse as much as possible when they clean using their rotowash.
