Hi all,

Can you help please?

I've just bought a dip tank with a load of chemicals but really do not know what to do.
I put half a cup of de-greaser with 5ml of fairy and 10lts of water added my cookers bars and boiled up in my dip tank for 3/4hr took them out and found them still in the same state but if i scraped with a knife the carbon would come off.
Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong and give me a step by step instruction on what to do

Many thanks

Nick

Hi Nick

Don't know what the non-caustic cleaners use in a dip tank but we use sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) with full ppe. Works really good on commercial kitchens. Otherwise use more of your chemical in there as when we dip the parts come out clean.

Hope this helps

Jonathan

Nick,

Go to www.dynamic-chemicals.co.uk and look for products "Catersan" and "Carbon Off"
