Kärcher 400 question
« on: November 30, 2014, 12:24:20 pm »
Incase any of you blokes use them in UK. Had my Puzzi 400 in the workshop because the water pump kept switching off after a few minutes while working on jobs.
The shop changed a float switch and "tested" it, and billed me about 90 quid parts and labour.
About 30 hours of working time, it started again to switch off after short periods. I'm reluctant to take the thing back, as I suspect the workshop is a secret tosser and has no idea what the problem is.

Just got back yesterday from 3 jobs, where I had to use a reserve machine as the problem started again. I've had the machine out on my patio running the pump for over 30 minutes, and the problem seems to have rectified itself  ???

Any ideas what this could be, before I spend another 100+ quid on getting an "expert" to look at it?  >:(

is that what you use day in day out?

You should get a twin vac machine import from the UK mate. You'll be known as the guy with the big, powerful machine  ;D i presume most cleaning companies in Germany use Karcher?

You'll do a much better job and a lot quicker with less back ache!

I remember having to hire a Karcher once for an emergency EOT job where my main machines was getting used on another job, NEVER AGAIN!! so much hard work.
