« on: November 30, 2014, 06:01:32 pm »
Hi folks need a bit of help,  about 3 weeks ago I fired up the pressure washer an it wouldn't draw any water,  I  disconnected lance hoes and put a garden hose up directly in uplift pipe and it cleared it self and work fine from the on , next time the pump was putting out water but was spraying out were the quick release attaches to the pump, has anyone any idea what's going on ,

Leaking out of QR because full pressure hasn't built up in the line to trigger. You may have a problem with valves, seals and pistons in pump. When did it last have any changed?

Dowty seals are pence and easy to fit. Remove the quick release from the pump. The dowty seal s the little washer in between the two .It is a metal "ring" which has an internal seal fitted to it.
