Hi Alan

Ive got to say all my custies are absolutely chuffed with the gutters I have done for them, I have not lost any business. I just did a full gutter clearance and facia soffit clean + windows in under 1hr 30min on a 3 bed semi with porch and ground floor extension that is guttering all around. Customer couldn't believe their eyes as next doors guttering looked cleaner than theirs before we started and now the neighbours facia looks a little older.

I love the gutter lance, but I also stated in my first thread that at the moment I cant afford a gutter vacuum system and so this will have to do me for know. However I will still use it to clean gutters as it is fantastically quick!
Hi Lee, it amuses me how some get there knickers in a twist. I pressure wash roofs which makes a lot of mess but when the ground is covered in tarpaulin its a case of brushing the muck up and bagging it, there are do's and don'ts with every job and I've not got an issue with cleaning gutters with a ladder and any roofers or windys around my area use ladders so for someone to say "do it properly" suggests to me that they are stuck on there own little planet. Gutter vac's aren't suitable for all jobs and neither is the ladder so I will try out the lance with a specific type of house which there is many on my run. I have the pole so if its practical I will combine it with the ladder.  :)

Risky business :) I'll be spending a few quid on new safety equipment for this so the gutter vac has got to have a good argument for me to buy into it.
Looking at Gutter cleaning systems 3000w vac with 40ft poles. He's informed me I'll need a 4.5kva generator so even with the cheaper poles it's a hell of an outlay. :-\
