Seriously who would take the chance. http://www.gumtree.com/p/business-for-sale/south-lanarkshire-window-cleaning-round-for-sale/1090490828

I appreciate his honesty but really, even if it is genuine, there would likely be a huge drop-off rate very quickly IMO.

I cover South Lanarkshire so would be interested in good compact work. I'm trying workout what would have happened if it did happen. For someone to canvass they would want money upfront? Then an agreed fee for an amount of custys, the custys have the original buyers card, if he never parted with the cash then the data wouldn't have changed hands, work was canvassed 3-4 weeks ago so they've had time to contact him if they really wanted a windy. I turn up with my wfp only service they say no and the guy with £1500 in his pocket is no longer around.
Or I clean the round and make payment via bank transfer after? If you were in his position what would you do.

I wouldnt touch it

1- it was for a franchise that couldnt clean it
2 - then its because hes shutting shop and moving
3- then because he had a buyer who backed out

Stay well clear if you ask me

Contact him and say if you cant sell it then you will work it for no cash upfront ... see what sticks customer wise then pay him from there ... if 50% stick your on a winner and so is he .... at the moment he has nothing and prob wont as no one will buy it cash up front for canvassed work that's gone past its sell by date ..  :)

This, feel him out, at the en of the day a canvasser is going to charge you min 2% value so there will be customers in there who will be wanting to know why no one turned up.
I wouldn't be willing to put money up front, but he needs to sell soon to get anything back from this.

It's been taken off the site. If it was gen then good luck to him and whoever took it on.
Don't think I could've put up with the stress of it.
